A rack and pinion (wheel gear) is a type of linear actuator that comprises a pair of gears which convert rotational motion into linear motion (reciprocating motion). A circular gear called “Pinion”, and the engaged teeth on a linear gear bar called “Rack”. Rotational motion applied to the pinion causes the rack to move, thereby, translating the rotational motion of the pinion into the linear motion of the rack.
Installation of Mechanical Device is always viewed as an easy job, but sometimes some incautious clash always causes unexpected damage on device, therefore, people are suggested to read the following installation method of Gear Rack.
Information of international steel model and standard are supplied for having better choice on mechanism.
Usually we are used to describe the power of the electronic device wtih a load capacity possessed, but for servo motor system, the main part is the output torque which could guide the relative concepts. From the notion of the motor driving circuit design, the power is focused especially.
Module is the unit of size to indicate how big or small a gear pinion is. It is the ratio of the reference diameter of the gear pinion divided by the number of teeth. Thus the formula of module calculation is as following.
For using or designing mechanism by gear rack system, it is necessary to have terminology knowledge of gear rack as mechanical element.
